Annual report 2025 to 2026 published
Our performance, spending, and the things that did not go well, covering the year to 31 March 2026.
The Office's annual report for 2025 to 2026 is published today. It covers our performance against the commitments we made last year, how we spent our budget, and what we intend to do differently.
Platform availability across Notify, Pay, and Hosting was 99.97% against a 99.95% commitment. We completed 133 service assessments, of which 82 were met, 46 were met with conditions, and 5 were not met.
Two things did not go well. The accessibility audit programme delivered 61 audits against a target of 90, because we could not recruit testers quickly enough — the report sets out how we are changing that. And our own website failed an internal accessibility review in November on three counts, all of which are now fixed and listed in our accessibility statement.
The report is published as a set of web pages rather than a single document, because a 94-page file is not something most people can usefully read. A printable version is available for anyone who needs one.
