Service
Book a service assessment
Book the independent panel review that every Commonwealth public service must pass before it launches to the public.
Availability
Available. The next assessment slot is usually four to five weeks away.
Who can use this service
- Service teams in Commonwealth departments and agencies
- Local authority service teams using Office platforms
- Suppliers, where a departmental service owner books on their behalf
Before you start
You will need a service owner who can attend, and a team that can answer questions about research, design, and technology.
Assessments take half a day. Panels are made up of four assessors, at least one from outside the Office.
Read the assessment preparation guidance first — most services that are asked to return had not.
How to use this service
Choose the assessment stage
Alpha, beta, or live. Each stage asks different questions of the same fourteen standard points.
Send us your evidence
Research findings, prototypes, performance data, and your accessibility testing. Send it at least ten working days before the panel.
Meet the panel
Half a day, in person in Ashport or remotely. The panel asks questions; the team shows the work.
Receive and publish the report
You get the report within five working days. We publish it on this site whether the outcome was met, not met, or met with conditions.
This is a demonstration
Commonwealth Office of Digital Services is a fictional organisation and this site is a HubZero Blueprint. Nothing on this page is submitted, stored, or sent anywhere.
