Delayed text message delivery on Commonwealth Notify
INC-2026-031Started · Resolved
Affected: Commonwealth Notify
We are investigating reports of text messages taking longer than usual to arrive. Email and letters are unaffected.
The delay is caused by a queue backlog at one of our two delivery suppliers. Messages are being delivered, but up to 40 minutes late.
We have moved traffic to our second supplier. The backlog is clearing and new messages are being delivered normally.
All queued messages have been delivered. No message was lost. We are reviewing why automatic failover did not trigger.
Commonwealth Pay unavailable for 41 minutes
INC-2026-024Started · Resolved
Affected: Commonwealth Pay
Payments are failing across all services. We are investigating.
A configuration change to the payment routing layer was deployed with an incorrect certificate reference. We are rolling it back.
The rollback is complete and payments are succeeding. Around 3,100 payment attempts failed during the incident and were not charged. People affected were asked to try again.
Slow sign-in on Commonwealth ID
INC-2026-011Started · Resolved
Affected: Commonwealth ID
Sign-in is taking longer than usual. People are able to sign in, but some requests are timing out and need retrying.
The cause is an undersized connection pool following Friday's release. We are increasing capacity.
Sign-in times are back to normal. Median sign-in is 1.2 seconds.
Commonwealth Hosting degraded in the Selmarch region
INC-2025-097Started · Resolved

Services hosted in the Selmarch region are responding slowly following a power event at the facility.
Traffic has been shifted to Ashport. Selmarch capacity is being restored in stages.
Full capacity is restored in Selmarch. No service was fully unavailable and no data was lost.
Availability is reported monthly in our annual report. The most recent figure covers the twelve months to 31 July 2026.
